How would I write this in a screenplay
So, there is someone brushing their teeth in the reflection of a mirrored
medicine cabinet, they open the door and when it closes it has changed
scene. How would l write the transition? l use Celtx
Without knowing the details of the scene, the simplest way is
to end the first scene with ''XXX reaches up and closes the medicine
cabinet.''
Start the next scene with ''YYY closes the medicine cabinet.''
If it is a completely different scene - not one that shares the same bathroom (or mirror) - then you don't get to write the transition, let the director direct. You just write.
